META - Rell Be Free (prod. by Kai Ohio)
Rell Be Free delivers a visceral interpretation of song "META (Samsara)" from the project “NRG.” He connects with the UK creative Kai Ohio (who handled production and videography) for this poetic song and abstract visual. The song acts as a narration of Rell’s mind as he engages experiences of loss, transformation, and growth - Giovanna White beautifully interprets those thoughts through free flow Afrikan dance.

Shelter Fest Seattle: Black Stax
Black Stax’s sound is like Miles Davis, Etta James and Langston Hughes adapted for savvy, hip-hop and neo-soul listeners. By any standard, their music is not ordinary and nothing is dumbed-down or gimmicky. It is smart music; every word carefully chosen and every song carries a message of social justice and community upliftment. Fans appreciate their eclectic, urban sound laced with jazz and 70s-era soul, which provides life’s soundtrack to the sophisticated connoisseur. A collaboration that works, Black Stax successfully blends and bends the musical genres of blues, jazz, R&B, and hip-hop. Support Black Stax: PayPal: blackstax@gmail.com Website: https://blackstaxmusic.com/ Shelter Fest Seattle is an online benefit music festival providing direct support to Black artists and restaurant owners in the greater Seattle area. While COVID-19 and the statewide shelter-in-place mandate disproportionately impact the arts and food service industries, Black artists and restaurant owners are some of the hardest hit. With the lack of support from the government, we believe that mutual aid and joint community efforts are some of the most critical ways we can show up for our community. More Than Tolerating: Resilience as a Path to Growth | Mira Kraft | TEDxEdmonds College
Resilience is often misunderstood as simply enduring challenges—but it’s so much more than what we can tolerate. Mira Kraft unpacks what resilience truly means, showing that it requires more than just waiting out the storm. It’s not how much we can endure but feeling deeply and moving forward. Embarking on a journey of creativity and innovation, Mira Kraft is the visionary force behind MKPR—a dynamic events and creative direction company established in 2017. With a multifaceted background spanning marketing, artist management, and event production, Mira has etched her mark in the entertainment world. Kraft has also served on the BASE board with the Cultural Space Agency, Co-founded nonprofit CNTR, is a member of the Recording Academy PNW Chapter, and serves as the Events Programs Director for Music For Everybody; a nonprofit founded by Marshall Law Band. In her thought-provoking talk Mira dives into the complex layers of resilience, reframing it not as mere endurance but as an evolving process of growth, healing, and self-discovery. She explores the neuroscience of resilience, and challenges societal norms around strength, inviting us to embrace our most vulnerable moments as catalysts for transformation. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
